Optimizing Violence Risk Assessments in Healthcare Webinar

The purpose of this session is to stimulate discussion about ways to assess patients and visitors for risk of violence in acute care and outpatient settings, and how to effectively communicate that risk to care providers before interacting with the patient or visitor.
Current evidence-based tools for assessing the risk of violence will be shared, and discussion will include the pros and cons of risk communication methods.
Attendees will be encouraged to share lessons learned related to the risk assessment processes they use.
