Our Conference Speakers

Dr. Natalie Stavas, award-winning physician, inspirational Boston Marathon hero   and humanitarian, who went from runner to first responder during the 2013   Boston Marathon bombing.  During her opening session, Running Toward Chaos,   Dr. Stavas will share her incredible story about providing aid to the injured,   imparting lessons about confronting fear and challenges head on and why running towards chaos actually makes chaos more manageable

Global speaker, best-selling author and mental health advocate Kevin Hines with a gripping presentation, “Cracked Not Broken: The Art of Living Mentally Well.”  Kevin will share his personal journey with bipolar disorder and the story of his unlikely survival and strong will to live after attempting to take his life by jumping from the Golden Gate bridge.

Steve Pemberton, author, speaker and Chief Human Resources Officer for Globoforce, will share his deeply personal story about defying seemingly insurmountable odds in his session, A Chance in the World: How to Transform Adversity into Action.  Overcoming abuse and neglect as an orphan in foster care, he became a trail-blazing corporate executive, enlightened diversity leader, visionary youth advocate and acclaimed speaker. His session, based on his best-selling memoir, recounts his triumphant life journey and drive to become a man of resilience, determination and vision.

Researcher, film director and author Ron Galloway, with a timely session, The Disruptors: How Amazon, Apple, Google, CVS/Aetna and Other Tech Companies Will Change Healthcare.

Former award-wining journalist, college professor and chaplain Dr. Rick Rigsby, who in 2017 delivered one of the most passionate speeches ever heard.  Over 200 million people worldwide viewed the speech, based on his best-selling book Lessons from a Third Grade Dropout, in a video that went viral in just a matter of days.  Dr. Rigsby will close out our conference in dramatic fashion.
